Children's Ministry

Children are an important part of the life of our church. Our congregation has a heart for children and their families, an understanding of the difficult world we are living, and a desire to help families grow closer to God. We therefore incorporate them into our worship service by welcoming them into our worship service, offering a children's sermon every week, providing Sunday school classes, and holding Vacation Bible School every year.

Sunday school is available for children ages 3 - Eighth Grade. Following the children's sermon, the children gather in Simmons Hall where they are led in a group time together before going to their Sunday school classes. Sunday school ends at 11:20am. During the summer months, Summer Sunday School is provided and ends when the worship service is over.

Quality nursery care is available every Sunday for children under the age of 3.

We'd love to have your family join with our family of faith on any Sunday morning. Just show up and we'll be happy to show you around.

Junior and Senior Youth The heart of our program is the time we spend together when we have fun, help others, and grow in faith and love. Throughout the year we are engaged in Bible Study, while also providing free babysitting for families of young children at Christmastime, caroling to the elderly, participating in worship, writing and performing weekly Advent dramas, participating in weekend retreats, going zip lining (photo,) hiking, holding our annual picnic and games at the beach, as well as apple picking, snow tubing, ice skating and many other outings and events that help us develop fellowship with each other and compassion for our world.

Family Ministry consists of regular opportunities for the church family to spend time together and have fun in a way that enriches relationships and buods the bonds of Christian love. Families of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate in any of the regularly offered events and activities. Activities and events include the Intergenerational Advent Event in December, Christmas caroling, apple-picking, movie night, pumpkin carving, game night, ice skating, picnics and pot luck suppers.
