Music is a gift from God, given by the 
Creator to bring God praise. When we worship, music helps us bring our individual thoughts and desires together so that we might worship God collectively in Spirit and in Truth. As the Bible says, our praise should be GLORIOUS!
Everything we offer to God should be our best, from the deepest part of us. When we worship the Creator of the Universe it should be no different, whether we are singing a chant, hymn, traditional song, or the newest music available today. When text, music and hearts combine, we have an opportunity to get beyond style and experience God - the aim of our worship.
Please know that there is a place for you and your talent at The Packanack Community Church. There are four choirs (two vocal and two handbell) as well as Community Classes in Music and Theater and a Concert Series. We have an Allen digital organ, pianos and Clavinovas. Private voice, piano and organ lessons are available as well. Community Music, Theater Classes and Concert Outings
The church offers a musical outreach to the community in the Fall and Winter semesters. There is also a summer musical theater camp. Find out more about these classes by going to our Community Music and Theater Classes page.
Concert Series and Concert Outing Series
In 2008, the church inaugurated a concert series. This diverse series is free to the public and offers the talents of area musicians as well as special guests from throughout the east coast. Click here for the 2011-2012 concert series.
Chancel Choir
High School youth and adults are encouraged to participate in this group that sings during the 10:00am worship service from Labor Day through Father's Day. They rehearse in the Choir Room from 7:15 - 8:45pm each Thursday. No audition is required. Feel free to contact Chris Titko by calling the church at 973.694.0608 if you have any questions or would like to sit in on a rehearsal.
Children's Choir
The Children's Choir is open to students in Grades 1-6. They rehearse every Sunday from 11:20am until 12:00noon during the school year. They offer two musicals during the year and sing for worship 4 to 6 times a year. No audition is required. This group is supported by an active parent organization. Drama Ministry
In February 2006, the Packanack Community Church began a Drama Ministry which includes an intergenerational summer musical production, a summer musical theater camp and a puppet ministry.
Handbell Ensembles 
The church has two handbell ensembles that started in the fall of 2008. Through the generosity of the Kittel family, the church purchased three octaves of Schulmerich handbells, binders, tables and other essential equipment. Consider joining this unique ensemble today.
