WORSHIP

10:00 AM Sundays

Grace and peace to you from the Packanack Community Church.

You are invited to discover a family of faith that celebrates Christ’s presence among us and participates in meaningful worship together. From the oldest charter member to the youngest baptized child, our congregation values people of different generations, backgrounds, abilities and beliefs. Our diversity deepens our understanding of who God is and how God is at work in the world, all while we continue to confess one thing: that there is truth in the Word of God and salvation in Jesus Christ.

Our worship service is based upon a traditional liturgical model that helps worshipers experience the transcendence of God through music, prayer, Scripture, sermon and sacraments.

We value the presence of children in the sanctuary and invite them to come forward every Sunday for a children’s sermon. Our Sunday school program is blessed with an abundance of children, dedicated teachers, and the support of a committed Christian Education Committee. Our Youth and Confirmation programs offer vital opportunities for young people to identify where their life and their faith intersect through participation in worship, service and fellowship events.

Our Music and Arts program is an integral part of our life together. We offer a Chancel Choir, a Children’s Choir, two Hand bell Ensembles, a summer musical theatre production, a children’s theatre production, a children’s summer theatre camp, and a music time class for toddlers. We are also blessed with two Clavinovas, a grand piano and a brand-new three-manual Allen digital organ which was dedicated in 2007 in celebration of our 60th Anniversary.

There are many people who make the Packanack Community Church such a unique place to experience God, and there is no end to their corporate activity of worship, fellowship, education, mission and outreach. Please join us and begin to discover how your gifts can enhance our life together and help us share the good news with other people. We look forward to meeting you as we gather for worship on Sunday morning at 10:00am. To God be the glory!

In Christ,

Rev. Karyn Ratcliffe
